Visiting the website and hosting
This website is served through Cloudflare. Visiting it involves processing technically necessary connection data, including your IP address, the time, the requested address and information about your browser and device. This is used to deliver the website and maintain its stability and security.
The hosting provider is Cloudflare, Inc., USA. Processing may take place in the USA and other countries in Cloudflare's international network. Information about data processing, recipients and contractual safeguards is available in the Cloudflare privacy policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
Contact form and email
When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, selected project type and message are sent to Otara via Web3Forms. Connection data such as your IP address and browser information may also be processed for technical purposes and spam prevention. Data is sent to this service only when you submit the form. You can also email info@otarastudio.ch directly.
Web3Forms is a service by Web3Creative, operated from India. Processing uses international infrastructure and may take place outside Switzerland. According to the provider, form messages may be stored for up to three years; the retention period can be shortened in the provider account. Web3Forms describes the details, service providers and contractual safeguards in its privacy policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
Otara uses your information to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out a project. The relevant email providers are also involved in delivery and storage. Otara retains contact information only as long as needed for the enquiry, the business relationship or statutory retention requirements.
Fonts, cookies and animation
Fonts, images and videos are loaded from this website; external font and media services are not embedded. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. Your choice is stored locally in your browser for no more than six months. It contains no contact details and is not sent to Otara as a visitor profile. Two technical session-storage entries remember only whether the intro animation has played in this tab or has been requested again. This information is not sent to Otara and contains no contact or profile data.
Google Analytics 4 and your choice
With your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics 4 on otarastudio.com for statistical analysis. The provider for users in Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data processed may include pages visited, the referring website, device and browser information and selected interactions such as project views and confirmed form submissions. Google also processes technical connection data, such as your IP address. Processing may also take place in the USA.
Before you consent, and if you decline, we do not load Google Analytics tags or send analytics requests to Google. Names, email addresses and message content from the contact form are not sent to Analytics. URLs and referrers are sent without query parameters or fragments; referrers are reduced to their origin domain. Google Signals, advertising personalisation and automatic form measurement are disabled.
In our configuration, the _ga and _ga_* analytics cookies last no more than six months. Event-level data retention in the Analytics property is set to two months. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future; further measurement will stop and the relevant cookies will be removed. Aggregated reports may be subject to different retention rules.
